Careers

Skilled hiring is the constraint. Not demand.

That is true across this entire industry, and it is true here. If you are good at this work and you would rather spend your career inside clinical environments than inside a general commercial book, there are three seats open.

Tier 2 Support Engineer Nashville, TN — hybrid Escalation ownership across a healthcare-only book. You will spend real time inside Dentrix, Eaglesoft, eClinicalWorks, and an imaging server somebody forgot about. Windows Server, Entra ID, and networking depth matter more than certifications, though we will pay for the certifications.
Security Engineer Nashville, TN — hybrid Detection tuning, incident response, and SOC liaison across 1,780 endpoints and 118 servers. You will hold containment authority and use it. Comfort explaining a decision to a practice administrator at 2am is part of the job description, not a nice-to-have.
Compliance Analyst Nashville, TN — hybrid Building and maintaining evidence files. Risk analysis fieldwork, control testing, BAA registers, training records, and the artifacts an OCR data request asks for. Healthcare privacy background preferred; we will teach the technology.
What it is like

Four things that are true here.

Endpoints per service-delivery technician: 254. The healthy band in this industry is 250 to 400, and we sit at the bottom of it deliberately. A compliance-heavy healthcare book needs the headroom, and running technicians at 400 endpoints is how firms produce the rotating-anonymous-technician experience every client complains about.

You will be on call, and it will be respected. The rotation is published to clients by name. It is also genuinely a rotation, and the volume is low: 0.81 tickets per endpoint per month, below the 1.0 maturity threshold, because we spend money up front to prevent the tickets.

Certifications are paid for, including the exam you fail. HCISPP, CISSP, CISA, CHPS, Security+, SC-200, SC-300. Study time is on the clock, not on your weekend.

Nobody here sells. Engineers are not compensated on revenue, do not carry a quota, and are not asked to position an upsell during a ticket. If you tell a client they do not need something, that is the end of it.

What we look for

  • Evidence you have fixed hard things under time pressure, described specifically.
  • The instinct to write down what you did. In this business the artifact is half the work.
  • Comfort explaining a technical decision to a practice administrator without condescending to her.
  • A tolerance for regulation as a design input rather than an annoyance.

We do not require a degree and we do not screen on certifications you have not been paid to get yet.

Applying

Send a note, not a cover letter.

Tell us what you have actually fixed. If you have ever restored a practice management database under time pressure, lead with that. We read everything and we reply to everyone, including no.

Our incident line is answered 24/7/365 by a security engineer, not a queue. Clients and non-clients both. If you are mid-incident, call before you email.
